    Ed Mcmahon is best known as Johnny Carson’s sidekick.

    At 86 years old, McMahon died shortly after midnight at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center surrounded by his wife, Pam, and other family members, said his publicist, Howard Bragman.
