The night before the official Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT) 2011, Yellow Fin Seafood and Restaurant graciously prepared a sumptuous dinner for all of the DFAT participants. A few bloggers from Manila, General Santos, and Cagayan de Oro who arrived early before the big event enjoyed their well-prepared meal.
Among the foods they have served us are the folowing: Imbao Soup, Sizzling Tuna Belly, Adobong Tuna Buntot, Kinilaw, Fish Laing, Lechon Kawali and my favorite which is their crispy Greaseless Fried Chicken. It was my first time to try their Fish Laing and I find it pleasing to my taste.

And because there was a power outage, I went out and tried the newly open pizza place in town, the Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria. The place is just small but they’re not running out of customers. It’s always full whenever I’ve passed through the place a few times since it’s opening just this month. Anyways, we’ve opted to try the Kebab Pizza, but our order would take a while since there are lots of customers ahead of us. They were also offering Pasta’s, so we also tried their Carbonara. There’s one pizza that caught my attention, the Crocodile Pizza, I wonder what it taste like, maybe we’ll try that one next time.
