Remembering Gary Papa
At age 54, Philadelphia TV sports anchor Gary Papa has died today after battling for five years with prostate cancer. He died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Gary Papa‘s last appearance on Action News was May 13.

1I no longer live in Philadelphia but I grew up there and I remember seeing him on the broadcast almost each day. I was speaking to a long time friend about the passing of M. Jackson and she informed me that Gary had passed away as well, I was completely shocked and very sad to hear about his passing.
To his family, please know that good thoughts and prayers are being sent your way from Maryland.
