And because there was a power outage, I went out and tried the newly open pizza place in town, the Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria. The place is just small but they’re not running out of customers. It’s always full whenever I’ve passed through the place a few times since it’s opening just this month. Anyways, we’ve opted to try the Kebab Pizza, but our order would take a while since there are lots of customers ahead of us. They were also offering Pasta’s, so we also tried their Carbonara. There’s one pizza that caught my attention, the Crocodile Pizza, I wonder what it taste like, maybe we’ll try that one next time.
By the way, I like the photos on their wall, giving us the look and feel of Europe. Mamma Maria’s Pizzeria is known to be the Home of the Biggest Pizza in the World which has a 63 inches record of a Pizza, but it is not yet available here in Davao City, only in General Santos and Bacolod City.

Not during the time when we were there. Hindi sila puno.
Nagtaka din kami. isa lang naman order namin tapos ang nipis pa nung pizza. LOL.
Na-try mo na Calda Pizza sa Gmall? Ok daw.

2tried both and calda is much better! quicker service and better pizza overall tho there are no pastas available only pizza.
mamma marias service sucks bigtime! took them 45-55mins for a pizza!
that is why its always full because the service sucks! im quite sure people will not go back if their service continues to be like this!

I agree with you John, it really took almost an hour to serve your order whether there are lots of customers or just few waiting’s. But we just don’t know on how they really manage the food, on how they really want to served us their food. Anyway, aside from the time consumption problem, their pizza fits to my “taste”. They are also affordable. Calda was also a delicious pizza house. It’s quick service and yummy pizza but the place aren’t that spacious that can cater customers to come in.
