Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010

I was fortunate to be invited by Avatar Media for the Meet-up with the DFAT 2010 participants. The Avatar Media team and Davao Bloggers were there with the participants from Manila, General Santos and Cagayan de Oro. The meet-up was held at Jose Rafael Fine Coffee‘s new branch along the Airport Road, Diversion.

I was excited for the Zipline adventure, I haven’t tried it yet though I’ve been wanting to try before, I just don’t have the guts to go alone so I needed someone to tag along, lol. I’m scared of heights so this could be difficult but I really find it exciting and fun. And so, I had the most thrilling adventure in my life, it was really scary up there, but when you look at the view below, you’ll be amazed with the beauty of mother nature… For a while, I feel like a Superwoman but when I looked straight again, my fear started to eat me up and after that they’ve all heard my endless scream, lol! Take a look at video that I made…

After our Zipline at Outland Adventure we had our lunch at Penong’s Barbeque Seafood and Grill. I personally love the Barbeque at Penong’s, it’s delicious and affordable… Our next stop at dinner was at Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp. I’ve been to Lachi’s once and have tasted their yummy food and pastries and so I got excited to try their other dishes.

All of the above foods are delicious especially my Unforgettable Pork Ribs and the Beef Tapa. Also, Lachi’s pastries are really great! I just can’t get enough of their Durian Cheesecake, I love it! I was really full and satisfied… Thank You Lachi’s for hosting our dinner and to Penongs for our lunch…

…and it was a fun filled day, full of excitement and of course I was able to meet the famous bloggers from Luzon and Mindanao. I was so happy to have finally meet Jehzeel, he was the one who’s so kind to help me when I was still new to WordPress…. For that, I wanted to say Thank You once again to Avatar Media, you made my weekend so special. :)
