I’m not really into make-ups and you’ll rarely see me wearing one and if so, it might be on a very very special occasion. I actually don’t know how to apply a make-up, lol. My usual routine when going out would be: first, I’ll apply a moisturizer on my face then loose powder afterwards and then a lip gloss and I’m done! LOL!
I was curious to know the ‘How To’s’ in applying make-ups and so I was excited when Ria invited me to FACES Basic Make-up Workshop at True Scents & Minerals which is an exclusive distributor of Jane Iredale products. Ms. Bunny Sy gave us an introduction and introduced us to Ms. Chiqui Aportadera, who is an authorized Jane Iredale make-up artist. We used Jane Iredale products during the workshop and Ms. Chiqui demonstrated to us the basics of make-up application and I was in awe while watching her do the make-up on one of the participants in just 5 minutes.
Ms. Chiqui and the other staffs at True Scents & Minerals had helped us in applying a make-up on one side of our faces and our tasks would be to finish the other half. Their staffs were so kind and nice, if they’ve seen that you needed help, they would kindly approach and guide you. Thank you Ms. Chiqui and to all the kind and friendly staffs of True Scents & Minerals for patiently assisting us.
In this workshop, I was able to learn the basics of applying a make-up and I really enjoyed trying out the different products of Jane Iredale. The Latte Liquid Mineral Foundation is just perfect for my skin tone, it looked natural and I liked it… I also liked the Disappear, it is a concealer which help conceal marks, acne pimples (which is my primary problem, lol), uneven skin tones and even tattoos! Disappear promotes faster healing time for pimples and will help them to disapear permanently. Brendel and I were so amazed by the effect of this concealer, have a look at our photo wearing Jane Iredale mineral make-ups and see how it enhances our beauty…
I am so happy that we were given an opportunity to try the awesome products of Jane Iredale. It was just like you’re not wearing a make-up when you do actually. I just love it’s natural effects! Thank You Ms. Bunny Sy, Ms. Chiqui Aportadera and to all the staffs at True Scents & Minerals.
By the way, True Scents & Minerals holds a Basic Make-up Workshop every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm, for details please refer to the information below.
